Hedonist tip of the day

Earlier today I was munching from the jar of nuts I keep handy and wondered about the health benefits of the daily snack. Just now I heard (Diane Sawyer) "a handful of nuts daily reduces death from heart disease by 29% and cancer by 11%." Isn't that great?

I congratulated my self on my choices. The food I eat must be healthful for the most part, neutral sometimes and junk rarely. I believe that to be a core value in personal health responsibility.


Funny thing is the jar I keep my nuts in is an empty of my favorite ice cream. I LOVE the ice cream, but it's a treat. Nuts are my daily bread.
